Polyurethane Spray Foam Insulation

PSP FS210 Closed Cell

Closed-Cell Polyurethane Foam is our number one seller. This sticky plastic expands up to 30 times its liquid volume when sprayed, allowing it to produce an R-value per inch of 6.4+. As the plastic is sprayed, cells or bubbles in the foam are compacted together and filled with an inert gas, making the foam as dense and insulating as possible. You can see an example of this type of foam insulation keeping the air cold in your home refrigerator or freezer. This product is the most successful spray foam on the market today.

Closed-Cell Polyurethane Spray Foam

The advantages of Closed-Cell foam include its strength, higher R-value, and greater resistance to the leakage of air or water vapor. This high density and durability makes Closed-Cell foam ideal for windy, damp and water-prone locations. Customers living in coastal areas or areas of high wind or cold should consider this the product of choice. This is also the ideal insulation for crawlspaces and other damp locations. While more expensive than Open-Cell foam, at the right thickness, Closed-Cell foam can not only act as an air barrier but as a vapor barrier as well.
